The Liele Center

The Liele Center is a new ministry facility in Saint Louis that exists as a partnership between the Saint Louis Metro and SEND Relief, the compassion ministry organization formed in partnership between the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board. The Liele Center began as an idea between St. Louis Metro and the elders of First Baptist Church of Ferguson. The center exists to mobilize churches and mission teams toward holistic, Gospel-motivated compassion ministry all over the Saint Louis Metro area and beyond. Our hope is that teams from outside our city will see Jesus at work in the compassion ministry in our neighborhoods and feel a call to join him in the work he is doing back home.

The Liele Center partners primarily with local churches and other Christian non-profits to bless the communities around them through furniture delivery to refugees, food distribution to families in need, free sports camps in neighborhood parks, and a multitude of other compassion ministry opportunities. Each year, we welcome hundreds of volunteers from all over the country to join us in this work.
